Course Design &
Learning Blueprints

Three course examples showing how I connect learning goals, activities and assessment. I choose a design approach that fits the intended skill.

My contribution

Course structure, learning objectives, activity and assessment mapping, delivery planning, and portfolio adaptation. Each outline connects to a working learning sample: a SCORM scenario course, an H5P prioritization activity, or an HTML feedback lab.

  • Learning objectives
  • Learning sequence
  • Activity design
  • Assessment alignment
  • Practical rubrics
Example 013-day course

AI at Work

Leveraging Artificial Intelligence at Work

Capability-based progression

A course plan that moves from AI awareness and guided tool use to practical workplace application and workflow improvement.

Learning goal
Use AI appropriately for a defined workplace task.
Learning activity
Complete a task, refine the prompt and validate the output.
Assessment evidence
A final output and validation record, judged against a six-criterion practical rubric.
Explore the design decisions

The outline maps objectives to capability levels, course units, activities and assessment. The practical-task rubric supplements the knowledge questions with observable evidence of tool selection, prompting, accuracy, responsible use, output quality and workflow improvement.

This is an anonymized course-design sample. Assessment methods and pass criteria describe the proposed design; they do not claim measured learner results.

Example 022-day course

Time Management

Time Management for Workplace Productivity

Outcome-based learning design

A course plan linking workplace productivity goals to self-assessment, prioritization practice, role-play and a personal action plan.

Learning goal
Plan priorities and manage time more effectively.
Learning activity
Analyze time-wasting habits, practice prioritization and rehearse handling interruptions.
Assessment evidence
Mapped pre- and post-assessments, scenario responses and an individual action plan.
Explore the design decisions

The alignment matrix connects learning objectives, topics, activities and assessment methods. Reflection and practice help learners examine their habits and develop a plan they can take back to work.

This is an anonymized course-design sample. The outline proposes how learning would be assessed; workplace behavior change would require follow-up evidence.

Example 0312–15 min module

Feedback Lab

Giving Constructive Workplace Feedback

Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle

A linked outline and HTML module that let learners try a feedback opening, reflect, learn an approach and experiment in a new scenario.

Learning goal
Choose specific, evidence-based feedback and invite dialogue.
Learning activity
Experience → reflect → understand → experiment.
Assessment evidence
Three practice decisions, a workplace plan and a proposed reviewer-assessed practical rubric.
Explore the design decisions

The Omar report scenario provides a simulated experience before the model is introduced. Reflection separates facts from assumptions. Learners then apply situation, behavior and impact in Noor’s client-call scenario.

The HTML checks three decisions and supports retries. The outline’s practical rubric is a proposed human-reviewed extension, separate from the module’s automated scoring. This is an independent portfolio sample.

One project, three examples: compare the design approaches above, open the design notes, or download an outline to inspect the detailed learning and assessment mapping.
